Dr. Luay Shalabi earned his MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Eastern Michigan University and doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State University focusing on bilingual and bicultural education. He has been in the field of education since 1981 when he started teaching English as a foreign language oversees.
He has a wide experience and a great passion in the field of bilingual bicultural education. Dr. Shalabi joined the founders of Central Academy, the first of all GEE schools, even before the school started its operation in 1996.
